Our Energy Solutions Team will assist owners and tenants to reduce energy use, reduce energy costs and reduce greenhouse emissions. Initially we will be able to establish the building’s current greenhouse impact with a NABERS Energy Rating on a scale of one to five, one star being the most polluting and five stars the least. Experience shows that by implementing energy efficiency practices many buildings can save 20 to 40% on their energy bills by making some simple and cost effective changes to your current installation. These changes include equipment, lighting and AC modifications as well as systemic changes to your energy consumption Further more our team of experienced electrical engineers can advise you on issues like Power factor correction, system harmonics, Energy usage profiling and many more.

Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from Australia’s commercial building sector are growing by 3 to 4% each year. Energy consumed in commercial buildings contributes a significant proportion to the national greenhouse emissions. Commercial buildings have a major part to play in meeting Australia’s international greenhouse obligations.

NABERS Energy ratings can be calculated for office buildings, tenancies, hotels, or shopping centres.

During your energy Audit our qualified staff visit your workplace and provide a comprehensive energy audit. We will establish where your energy is used and analyse your current electricity tariffs.

Once we have all the relevant information, we will complete a comprehensive energy use profile and provide you with a detailed report of your current energy rating and where you can make improvements to your system. At this point you have the option to submit your information for a NABERS Accredited rating, or to improve your rating prior to submission.

If you decide to first improve your rating, Initial costings can then be prepared to enable you to make an informed decision. We will recommend the most economical way of improving your energy usage and reducing carbon output, in turn increasing your energy efficiency rating. We will also provide you with strategies to motivate your staff and advise on any possible funding that may be available.

Should you elect to make changes to your installation that require engineering design, our specialised design team will then prepare a cost analysis of the different design options that are available. Upon assessment of the options, we will present to you the options analysis for review and approval.

Once you are happy with the design options provided we can the assist with any specifications of equipment or installation. We can also assist you with tendering the implementation of any system to 3 approved service providers, and/or principal contractors. This process will ensure that all reconfiguration works are completed at the lowest possible cost.

Should you require us to, we can the oversee the construction project and provide advise, supervision, or ever complete project management services to ensure that the installation project goes exactly to plan.

Upon completion of the engineering changes, prior to submission of your rating for NABERS certification it is important to check and measure whether the project objectives have been achieved. We can provide a monitoring program that ensures your energy usage remains efficient and that your staff attitudes remain committed. This will also give you a chance to ask us about the latest technology and funding programs available to your business.
